1. Terence Garvin, LB, Orlando Apollos

Anyone who watched the game between the Orlando Apollos and Atlanta Legends had to notice the play of Terence Garvin. The linebacker for Orlando was all over the field and recorded double-digit tackles as well as picking off two passes — one of which he returned for a touchdown.

Garvin is no stranger to the NFL as the 28-year old played five full seasons in the NFL and one game in 2018. He’s spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins, Seattle Seahawks, and finally San Francisco 49ers.

Primarily a special teams player, Garvin has four career starts in the NFL as well as 53 total tackles. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him again get invited to a camp if he continues to find himself

Outside of Garvin, the Apollos had two other players who really stood out. One was the 6-foot-7, 264 pound Earl Okine, who played collegiately at Florida. He’s bounced all over the NFL and CFL but showed some explosion off the edge that could turn heads.

The other was Josh Banks, Sr. the 290-pound defensive lineman who was hard to block throughout the first have. A former Wake Forest star, Banks could get teams to kick the tires on him in the summer if he keeps playing well in the AAF.
