The Browns need help in other places other than acquiring a star like Odell Beckham Jr but, having this weapon for the Browns offense wouldn’t hurt the production on the field.

What should the Cleveland Browns sacrifice for Odell Beckham? Why not two first round picks? Why not two first round picks and a second-round pick? Why not convert Duke Johnson into a slot receiver and add a first round pick and two second round picks? OBJ is worth it over the next four years just in Baker Mayfield’s development alone.

This trade could absolutely happen and I think it’s already in the works. The wide receiver coach for the Browns, Adam Henry, was Jarvis Landry and OBJ’s former coach at LSU. Not to mention he was OBJ’s coach recently for the Giants. Odell Beckham Jr and Landry are friends, he’s been talking with Baker Mayfield and all of them have been training together during the offseason.

The Browns can withstand the contract of OBJ and with that, it adds a true No. 1 receiver to a corps that doesn’t have one — but sorely needs one. Landry did alright this year, but he’s being paid to much for what his production ended up being. Move to restructure his contract and add OBJ while making room in the cap potentially with trading off Jamie Collins, maybe another player, and draft picks.

The Giants should be looking to rebuild especially if they don’t draft Dwayne Haskins this year. Haskins is the best shot that team has at a rookie this year and if they settle for anyone else and start them they will regret it and panic into a rebuild mode.

Eli Manning cannot be trusted to lead that team any longer and ties should have been cut with him by now but for some reason, the front office of the Giants won’t step up and do what needs done in order for their team to win again.

With the signing of Kareem Hunt for dirt cheap, this opens the door to adding a playmaker at receiver and handing Baker the weapons to be great this year. He already broke records and that was with a bum head coach for half of the season and Jarvis Landry acting as a number one receiver when he’s nowhere near that.

Baker needs a number one receiver to have on the field. OBJ is exactly that and he has chemistry with Baker, Landry, and Adam Henry. Could be a match made in Heaven and the fans would benefit the most from watching this masterpiece unfold.
