Cleveland Browns: Kareem Hunt, welcome home
Look at that picture of Kareem Hunt embracing his fans. Look at that and see the star he is and what he brings to this team in his hometown.
Kareem Hunt, full of scandals, mistakes, and mishandling of temper. Don’t forget he’s also arguably a top three running back in the NFL and now the Cleveland Browns acquired him for potentially nothing.
Mistakes are made by everyone. However, there’s always time for redemption.
Hunt’s production speaks for itself. Numbers don’t lie. He led the NFL in rushing yards last year and had an average yards per carry of 4.9. This past season, through 11 games, Hunt was out pacing his 2017 season in rushing yards. The production on the field allows him to try and redeem himself, and he gets to do so in Cleveland.

Being a hometown hero and coming back home after off the field issues may help this young man and I truly hope that is what John Dorsey is thinking also. Being on a positive team that is shooting to the top will benefit this troubled star.
Imagine waking up on a cold Sunday morning, light snow fall, First Energy Stadium is loud and cheerful.
The Browns just locked up the AFC North. Baker Mayfield threw for over 300 yards and two touchdowns. Nick Chubb carried the ball for over 100 yards and Kareem hunt carried for another 150 yards in a dominating win over the Steelers.
This is all before any big additions to the defense, hopefully trading for Odell Beckham Jr and re-signing/signing offensive linemen which already proved to be one of the best in the NFL the second half of the season last year. This is a realistic future with these three stars on this team. The Browns would be feared across the league with all these weapons at the disposal of Baker Mayfield.
This team is going to do big things, just because a man who made a mistake is on this team, does not mean that this team has lost character by any means. Nobody in this world is perfect, everybody makes mistakes, forgiveness is rare but let us all try, so we can root for AFC division winners in 2019.
