Last season the Cleveland Browns made a big trade for Jarvis Landry. Here are five other wide receivers they could look to make a deal for in 2019.

Last season, the Cleveland Browns made a lot of noise when they traded for the NFL receptions leader from the year prior. Giving up a couple of draft picks, they landed Jarvis Landry and then quickly signed him to a long-term deal. While there are debates as to whether or not Landry deserved to be paid among the best, his services were desperately needed.

Cleveland entered the offseason with Corey Coleman and Josh Gordon as their top wideouts. Coleman never made it to the regular season as he struggled during training camp and was eventually traded to the Buffalo Bills — and then bounced around some after that.

It wasn’t long until Gordon was gone as well. After using up his last chance with the Browns, they traded him to the New England Patriots. He played well but was later suspended again which reminded fans why they got so little in return for his services.

Landry came in without the concerns and could pick up the offense. He also made the Pro Bowl and had several clutch catches on third-downs. Still, he could use a running mate and the Browns may look to the trade market once again to try and land another receiver to work alongside Landry.

For what it’s worth, Antonio Brown won’t be a consideration. Yes, he’s on the trade block but it seems incredibly unreasonable to think that the Pittsburgh Steelers would trade him within the division. Also absent will be Odell Beckham, Jr. — simply because that one has been mentioned more than enough times.
