Randy: Dawson Knox, TE, Ole Miss

The Browns have a lot of picks in the fifth, so they use one of them on a project player in Dawson Knox. He showed flashes for Ole Miss, but was never fully utilized. Behind David Njoku, Knox will have time to grow into his role and could eventually give the Browns two stud receiving options at tight end.

Cory: Josh Oliver, TE, San Jose State

One of the standouts of the combine at a tight end group that flailed overall was Josh Olver from San Jose State. The 6’5 and 249 pounds tight end ran his 40 in 4.63 seconds, and hit the 34 inch mark on his vertical jump. During the on-field drills, he thrived, making one of the more athletic one-handed catches of the day. While his numbers in college will not impress, he has the size and speed to translate to the next level. Especially for a team that needs some more depth outside of Njoku, as Devalve could find himself on the bubble of the roster.

Shane: Terry Beckner Jr., Missouri

This draft is rich is defensive tackle talent, which will cause a lot of worthy players to drop. The Browns have their starter in Wilkins and then add some quality depth to a different Tiger. Despite a day two grade from me, the Browns can likely get him on day three.
