The Cleveland Browns have the potential of being extremely active in free agency and should consider these free agents from the NFC East.

The Cleveland Browns were one of the biggest question marks in relation to how they would approach this upcoming off-season.

There was some belief that general manager John Dorsey would take a conservative approach and not make any major moves. Instead, he would target cheaper veterans that would not cost much. Then there would be less risk of taking a large chunk out of the Browns’ future cap space.

By preserving cap space, it would make sure the Browns would have plenty of money available when several of their key players would need new contracts. However, this approach could be risky and not allow the Browns to take advantage of having their young talent on cheap contracts.

But as the free agency period gets closer, it appears that Dorsey is not taking this conservative approach. Instead, it seems like he is attempting to make a big move and add serious talent to the roster for 2019.

Over the past couple of days, Browns twitter has been on fire with several players and reporters hinting that Cleveland has a big move in the works. It then became known that the potential big move was the Browns attempting to trade for New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

As the Browns look at making a deal for arguably the best player in the NFC East, we take a look at free agents from the NFC East who the Browns should consider targeting when the free agency period opens.
