The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news that you need to know, including the Browns having interest in a top free agent.

The Cleveland Browns are one of the teams that can be extremely aggressive when the free agency period opens next week because of their cap space.

With over $80 million available in cap space, the Browns will have plenty of money available to potentially make some big signings.

General manager John Dorsey has already shown this off-season that he will consider every way possible to improve the browns roster for 2019. He is not shying away from troubled players or trying to acquire players like Odell Beckham Jr. via trade.

The Browns have WR Tyrell Williams on their radar and other free agency notes – Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland.com

"Chargers wide receiver Tyrell Williams hurt the Browns last season, but will he be able to help them in 2019?A league source told cleveland.com that the Williams will “be of strong interest” to the Browns when the legal tampering period begins on Monday."

The Browns lacked a consistent vertical threat last season, relying on Breshad Perriman in a small sample size. With Perriman wanting to test the free agent market, it would make sense for the Browns to consider arguably the best vertical receiver on the free agent market.

ESPN’s Over/Under for 2019 Cleveland Browns wins, hogwash

In a recent article, ESPN set Cleveland’s over/under for wins in 2019 at 7.5. Mike Lukas believes that the number set by the writer does not make any sense considering the talent the Browns have on the roster.

Cleveland Browns listed as betting favorite to land Odell Beckham Jr. if he’s traded – Ben Axelrod, WKYC

"On Thursday, betting website Bovada provided its betting odds for which team Beckham will play for in Week 1 of the 2019 season. And although the Giants are ultimately favored to keep the 3-time Pro Bowl selection at -190, Cleveland has seen its odds move from +500 to +285, making the Browns the favorite to land Beckham, should he be dealt."

With all of the rumors connecting the Browns making a trade for Beckham, it makes sense that Las Vegas will adjust their odds to make Cleveland a likely landing spot. It seems fairly obvious that the Browns are the most aggressive team in trying to get the Giants to move Beckham in a trade.
