With the Cleveland Browns beefing up their defensive end rotation, we now turn our attention to the defensive tackles who will be available in 2019 NFL Free Agency

With free agency kicking off in just a matter of days, the Cleveland Browns are set to be incredibly active. They’ve already made sure everyone in the league understands they’re ready to make moves as they were involved in a trade on Friday where two big-name players were shipped to new teams.

Rumors were flying when Cleveland general manager John Dorsey was seen at the NFL Scouting Combine talking to Dave Gettleman who boasts the same title with the New York Giants. However, the speculation was off about who would be involved.

Fans were praying for Odell Beckham, Jr. to land in Cleveland, it was actually Olivier Vernon who will be joining the Browns. Adding another talented edge rusher makes a lot of sense for Cleveland but it wasn’t without cost as Dorsey sent right guard Kevin Zeitler to the Big Apple in the deal.

More. Should the Browns explore a Malik Jackson signing?. light

With Zeitler gone, Austin Corbett will step into his place as the leader for the starting right guard position. Should he be able to hold down that job, this could end up being a favorable trade. Vernon, who is slightly overpaid, is a solid edge rusher that could find some favorable matchups opposite Myles Garrett.

That should improve the defensive line greatly, but there’s still work to be done. Cleveland needs to add some talent next to Larry Ogunjobi at defensive tackle. There will be plenty of options to do so in the 2019 NFL Draft, or they could look to free agency rather than hoping someone they really want lasts until pick No. 17.

All that being said, here are three players who will be looking for new homes when free agency kicks off that would help a lot should they wear the orange and brown next year.
