The Cleveland Browns made a splash on Tuesday when they agreed to terms with defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson which could change their plans in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft

After staying quiet for the majority of the first day of the free agency negotiation period, the Cleveland Browns got into the action early on Tuesday by agreeing to terms with defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson. His expected arrival will give the Browns an impressive defensive line that features Richardson, Olivier Vernon, Myles Garrett, and Larry Ogunjobi.

For good measure, Cleveland still has Emmanuel Ogbah on the roster who has plenty of starting experience as a defensive end as well and could be an experienced rotational piece. Suddenly, a line that was seen as a weakness is now arguably going to be the strength of this team.

It could also alter the way they go into the 2019 NFL Draft. With defensive line seeming to be their biggest hole — and the 2019 class being loaded with talent along the defensive front — there was a big chance the Browns were going to land an edge rusher or interior lineman. That changed with the addition of Olivier Vernon from the New York Giants as well as with the recent news of Richardson joining the club.

With those two players added, the Browns philosophy in April could be vastly different as they no longer will feel pressured to draft a player based on what position he plays. That being said, here are four players who could potentially be on the radar for the No. 17 overall pick after the defensive line moves.
