Colin Cowherd has been very critical of the Cleveland Browns ever since they drafted Baker Mayfield and it continued as he looked at the Odell Beckham, Jr. addition

Colin Cowherd is not a fan of Baker Mayfield as the leader of a franchise. He’s made this clear several times since the Cleveland Browns drafted him at No. 1 overall. He even had the quarterback on his show last season and pointed out areas he felt Baker could grow as a leader.

The feelings of Cowherd didn’t change after the Browns won five of their last eight games of the season under Mayfield, and they also haven’t changed since they added players such as Odell Beckham, Jr. and Sheldon Richardson this offseason.

Instead, the sports pundit doubled-down and said the Browns were going to be an exciting offense but would have maturity problems across the board. And he didn’t just take a shot at the quarterback in his latest rant.

This time, Cowherd went after everyone from general manager John Dorsey to head coach Freddie Kitchens and their two new additions in OBJ and Richardson. He also referred to the team overall as a “louder” and “less mature” version of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cowherd’s problem with Mayfield started long before the Browns selected him as he called him ‘undraftable‘ ahead of the 2018 NFL Draft. However, he wasn’t as critical of John Dorsey — at least not this vocally — until recently.

One claim is that Dorsey’s ego led to his dismissal in Kansas City. As for Cleveland, they don’t care about his ego because of their desperation to win.

From there, he said that the Chiefs had a more stabilizing force at coach in Andy Reid, whereas the Browns have a ‘puppet’ in Freddie Kitchens who will just do as Dorsey tells him.

Not everything Cowherd had to say was bad. He did admit from a football standpoint, Mayfield and OBJ could work considering the accuracy of No. 6 and the deep-ball play of Beckham. However, he said the loud voices will eventually be too much.

Next. Mayfield dishes on Odell Beckham’s attitude. dark

Cowherd has taken aim at Cleveland and is clearly not a fan of what it is they’re doing.
