The Cleveland Browns trade for Odell Beckham Jr. seemed like it was destined to happen for many months over the course of the last year.

No matter what was happening, the Browns were continually being connected to Beckham, despite the wide receiver just signing a mega extension with the New York Giants.

Part of the reason why the Browns were predicted as a potential landing spot for Beckham was because he has ties on the team. Jarvis Landry is one of Beckham’s best friends and the two worked out together last summer, catching passes from Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.
