Another look at the Cleveland Browns draft options after giving up their first, and one of their third-round picks, in the trade for wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr.

Suddenly, the Cleveland Browns roster looks rather impressive. It’s a far cry from where this team was just 12 months ago. Heading into the 2018 NFL Draft, they were a team that was starting to make some moves as general manager John Dorsey had begun to re-tool the roster.

He had added a few veterans such as Tyrod Taylor, Jarvis Landry, Damarious Randall, and Carlos Hyde. The Browns then went into the draft and secured their franchise quarterback in Baker Mayfield. They also added Denzel Ward, Nick Chubb, and Genard Avery as key contributors.

Now fast forward to 2019 and the team has added even more firepower. Defensive end Olivier Vernon, running back Kareem Hunt, and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson are all talented players who can help this roster immensely. However, the big acquisition was none other than Odell Beckham, Jr.

The former New York Giants wideout immediately becomes the most accomplished — and most explosive — member of the team’s receiving corps. He didn’t come cheap though as the team surrendered their first round pick, one of their two picks in the third, and starting strong safety Jabrill Peppers in order to pick up Beckham.

Following that trade, the Browns draft needs will change — as well as when they will pick. Here is a look at how the 2019 NFL Draft could play out for Cleveland, following the blockbuster trade.
