The Cleveland Browns could look to add some depth to their linebacker corps in the 2019 NFL Draft. If they do go this route, here are three names to watch.

The 2019 NFL Draft is roughly a month away and teams have been hard at work filling roster holes while still keeping an eye on the upcoming event. As for the Cleveland Browns, they’re in some unfamiliar territory as they’re not going to make their first pick in the upcoming draft until the second round.

This comes after having three picks in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft and another two in 2018. They also owned the No. 1 overall pick in each of those two seasons which landed them Myles Garrett and Baker Mayfield respectively.

Now, they have to sit and wait until the 49th selection to make their moves — but thankfully, general manager John Dorsey gives us hope he will make the most out of that pick, as well each one that will follow.

Honorable Mentions:

Khalil Hodge, Buffalo

The NFL didn’t invite Khalil Hodge to the Scouting Combine but really should have. He was electric for the Bulls during his three seasons and never had less than 123 tackles. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 235-pounds, Hodge will have to overcome his small-school status but could be a steal later in the draft.

T.J. Edwards, Wisconson

T.J. Edwards is hard to figure out. He’s a former high school quarterback who converted to linebacker in college and played incredibly well for Wisconsin. However, he doesn’t project to be a stud at the next level due to his lack of speed. Even without the wheels, he still did everything asked of him with the Badgers and finished with 366 tackles and 10 interceptions in his four seasons.
