2. Home vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams have been the hottest team in the NFL the last two seasons. They found their franchise quarterback in Jared Goff and have a head coach in Sean McVay who knows exactly how to put his personnel in the best positions to win games.

They also took advantage of having most of their roster on rookie deals and used the extra cap space to build a strong supporting cast. This method of roster building helped the Rams make it to the Super Bowl last season, although they fell short to the Patriots.

The Browns are hoping they can have as quick of a turnaround as the Rams did and next season’s match-up could show close the Browns are to pulling off that turnaround. With the talent on the Rams’ roster, this could be one of best offensive games the league has in 2019.

There is a lot of national appeal for high-scoring match-ups. Both teams boast offensive units that are near the top of the league in talent, so a back-and-forth explosive game would not be surprising. It has the potential of being the type of game television networks covet.

This game will be a great barometer for the Browns in how they match-up against one of the top teams in the league. If television executives feel like the Browns will be one of the best teams next season, pitting them against one of the best offenses in the NFL could provide them with a game that could blow up on social media.
