With just days left before the 2019 NFL Draft, it is time for an updated 7-round mock draft for the Cleveland Browns, done in a joint Dawg Pound Daily effort.

It’s finally the week of the 2019 NFL Draft, which means your Cleveland Browns are just days away from making their selections. Last season, we saw the team completely transform themselves by making some big selections that sent them from a 0-16 record in 2017 to a 7-8-1 mark this past year.

They have continued that overhaul, with the biggest move being their trade for Odell Beckham, Jr. While the explosive wideout was worth the price, it will keep the Browns out of the draft on opening night — unless they make a trade.

Should they wait, we won’t see them pick until No. 49 on Friday night. With that selection, they could still net a starter who can help them take their proverbial next step this season.

The good news is, general manager John Dorsey has put them in a position to succeed. They have landed not only OBJ, but also defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson, edge rusher Olivier Vernon, and safety Morgan Burnett. This allows them to go for the best player available, without reaching due to a dire need.

With all that being said, we here at Dawg Pound Daily have gotten together to try and guess which players will wear the orange and brown this season. Here we have a collaborative seven-round mock draft from the DPD crew — and if you like the writer’s take, click on their name to see more of their work.
