Greedy Williams says Cleveland Browns will be playing in Super Bowl

Greedy Williams may have just been drafted by the Cleveland Browns, but he is confident the team will be playing in the next Super Bowl.
The Cleveland Browns made one of the best value picks in the first two rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft when they selected LSU cornerback Greedy Williams with the 46th overall selection.
Williams was seen as one of the best cornerbacks in the draft class and was expected to be selected in late part of the first round. Instead, he fell into the waiting arms of John Dorsey and the Browns in the middle of the second round.
And even though he just joined the Dawg Pound, Williams is confident the Browns will make the playoffs next season. In his conference call with Cleveland media, Williams went as far as saying the Browns will be playing in the next year’s Super Bowl.

Williams’ addition helped address one of the biggest problems for the Browns last season: passing defense. The Browns were picked apart by passing offenses last season, allowing 257.8 passing yards per game, the eighth-most in the NFL.
With the talent on the offensive side of the ball, there were concerns the Browns defense could hold the team back next season. But after adding Olivier Vernon, Sheldon Richardson, Morgan Burnett, and now Williams to the defense, there is plenty of talent all over the defense that should not hold the team back next season.
Now that the Browns have addressed arguably the biggest remaining need on their roster, the expectations for next season are going to be even bigger. After the addition of Odell Beckham Jr., the Browns were already seen as the favorites in the AFC North. But adding someone who has the potential of Williams will create expectations for the Browns to go far in the playoffs.

If the Browns are able to put everything together right away next season, there is a reason to believe they will be a contender in the AFC next season. Williams may have been excited about being selected in the draft, but there is a chance his prediction could come true by the end of the 2019 season.
