Before the 2019 NFL Draft, Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey mentioned that the defensive line was the strength of the draft class.
But when it came for the Browns to make their selections on Friday and Saturday, they curiously did not select a defensive linemen. It raised some eyebrows considering adding depth to the defensive line has been one of the priorities for the Browns this offseason.
However, Dorsey may have had a purpose to not selecting a defensive line prospect. Instead, he may be trying to add a proven veteran to Cleveland’s defensive line.

The idea of adding McCoy to the current group of Browns defensive linemen is something the Dawg Pound would dream of. If the Browns could make a deal with Duke Johnson being the centerpiece, it is a move the team should absolutely consider.
