Which members of the Cleveland Browns draft class have the best chance to make a big impact for the team during the upcoming 2019 NFL Season?

Last season, the Cleveland Browns saw just how impactful rookies could be. They entered the year with high hopes for their 2018 draft class and they surely weren’t disappointed. Not only did they get solid work from players such as Denzel Ward, who they expected to start, but they also saw players they didn’t plan on being starters like Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb rise to the occasion.

In fact, the Browns ended up with 11 NFL Rookie of the Week honors out of those three picks. Ward started this off the parade of accolades by earning the honor in Week 1 for playing well against Antonio Brown. Mayfield then took the crown in Week 3, after coming off the bench and defeating the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football.

Chubb followed that up by winning the award in Week 4 after running for more than 100 yards against the Oakland Raiders. Ward won the award again in Week 5 while Chubb landed the honor for their Week 10 win against the Atlanta Falcons.

Mayfield ended up winning the weekly award more than anyone in the league, taking it home seven total times — including three of the final four weeks of the season. Oddly enough, he somehow didn’t win the Rookie of the Year award, but that’s for another day.

With all that being said, it’s not crazy to think that Cleveland could have some great output from their recent 2019 NFL Draft class. Here, we will dig into that group of rookies and see which four players could be the most impactful during their first season in the NFL.
