The Cleveland Browns greatly improved their roster this season, but which five players are most likely to earn their first Pro Bowl trip in 2019?

Last season, the Cleveland Browns had two players make the first Pro Bowl appearance of their respective careers. Cornerback Denzel Ward made it after a stellar rookie campaign, as did defensive end Myles Garrett who was great in his second season in the league.

Ward was the No. 4 overall pick out of Ohio State and was a bit of a surprise selection. With North Carolina State defensive end Bradley Chubb still on the board, there was plenty of speculation that he would be the choice. Instead, general manager John Dorsey went with Ward who proved right away he belongs in the NFL.

The former Ohio State defensive back had two interceptions in his debut game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and was the NFL Rookie of the Week for his work. He’s going to continually be compared to Chubb, who was also great as a rookie, but at least Ward proved he was a Pro Bowl caliber player.

As for Garrett, he was the No. 1 overall pick out of Texas A&M in 2017. He struggled with health as a rookie and played just 11 games. In that span, he had 31 tackles and seven sacks which showed his potential. However, we all knew he was capable of more.

He proved that in 2018 as he had 44 tackles and 13.5 sacks — despite saying he was limited to just two pass rush moves. The Pro Bowl honor was just icing on the cake for him as he continues to prove he was worth the investment.

With all that being said, we now look ahead to 2019 and pick five players who could very well make their first Pro Bowl this season.
