The Cleveland Browns suddenly have a lot of talented players in the spotlight, but which unheralded players could end up making a big impact in 2019?

The attention right now for the Cleveland Browns is centered around some of their big-name talents. Currently, wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. and his attendance record at voluntary OTAs is the hottest topic in The Land, which is normally the case whenever a superstar comes to a new home.

Outside of OBJ, players like Baker Mayfield are also getting attention. The second-year quarterback is always going to get plenty of attention — even to the point where we all start to discuss when he shaves his beard.

Last year, Mayfield was also the center of attention as he was the hot rookie on the club, but another big ticket draw was Jarvis Landry. Just like his best friend and former teammate this year, OBJ, Landry was the new acquisition that everyone wanted to see in the orange and brown.

This attention only magnifies as the season goes on, especially when the players perform well. Mayfield, for example, became the talk of the entire NFL once he finally took over for Tyrod Taylor.

A Thursday Night Football win over the New York Jets was only the beginning as the No. 1 pick out of Oklahoma ended up with seven NFL Offensive Rookie of the Week Awards en route to breaking the record for most touchdown passes by a rookie.

While the spotlight will continue to shine on the stars, any team hoping to win big needs to have some help from other sources as well. We all know championship-caliber teams need to have unheralded role players willing to do the dirty work that doesn’t garner the same hype.

For the Browns to compete in the AFC North this season, they will need to have players who perform in such roles. Here, we look at three unheralded members of the team who will need to perform well at their assigned tasks in order for the team to be successful in 2019.
