The Cleveland Browns made several moves during the 2019 NFL Offseason. Here we rank them all to see which moves were their best as they rebuild their roster.

There have been a lot of moves made this offseason by the Cleveland Browns which has fans ready for the 2019 season to begin. After a 5-3 stretch to close out their last season, it’s hard to blame anyone for wanting to get their team back on the field.

In 2018, the final record ended up being 7-8-1 and they were within a field goal of owning their first winning record since 2007. It was a stark contrast from their 0-16 campaign the prior year and it really highlights the work done by general manager John Dorsey.

After completely overhauling the roster (with roughly 60 percent of the team being changed out) Dorsey put a much more competitive roster on the field. He also eliminated the losing culture by firing head coach Hue Jackson after a 2-5-1 start.

While it’s true that he made a lot of progress in just one offseason, Dorsey understood the work was far from done. He realized that Baker Mayfield — their new franchise quarterback — was going to need a No. 1 wideout to grow alongside. He also knew the defense had a couple of starting spots to fill and needed depth — especially at linebacker.

He then set out to cross those items off his to-do list and did a wonderful job in that department. Now as we are rolling through OTAs, we can take a step back and rank the top-5 offseason moves for the Cleveland Browns in 2019.
