After missing most of the offseason program, both Odell Beckham Jr. and Duke Johnson have reportedly arrived for Cleveland Browns mandatory minicamp.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and running back Duke Johnson have reported to the team’s facility for mandatory minicamp, according to Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com.

Both Beckham and Johnson have missed most of the team’s offseason program so far. However, Tuesday marks the first phase of the offseason that is mandatory for the players.

The reported arrival of both players ends a long run of absences for the two offensive players. Although the offseason program has been voluntary for the players up to this point, the organization was hoping they would’ve seen more of both players by this time.

Beckham has only been with the team for two sessions of the offseason program, starting with the first day of the team’s voluntary workouts at the beginning of April. He also was with the team for the first day of OTA’s, but missed the other nine sessions.

Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens said Thursday he was hoping to just see Beckham during mandatory minicamp. Kitchens said that missed Beckham missed “a lot” during OTA’s, including the installation of the offense.

Beckham was expected to be at the team’s mandatory minicamp after he said said Friday night on an Instagram post that he was planning on reporting to the facility Monday. But it was still a mystery if Johnson was going to report for the team’s mandatory minicamp.

Johnson has not been with the team for any portion of the offseason program after his name has been floated around in trade rumors for the majority of the offseason. He was reportedly supposed to report for OTA’s, but he missed all ten sessions.

After Cleveland signed Kareem Hunt in February, Johnson seemed to become expendable in the eyes of the Browns front office. Johnson drew some interest in the trade market, but the Browns were not offered the compensation they wanted for Johnson, so they held onto him. And because of the uncertainty of his role on the team and already being shopped around the league, Johnson and his agent requested a trade in April.

The Browns’ mandatory minicamp will be the first time most of the offense has been on the field together with the arrival of Beckham and Johnson. However, they will still be without Jarvis Landry, who is not expected to practice while he manages a minor injury. Cleveland’s mandatory minicamp is June 4-6.
