The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including the Browns still being favored to win the AFC North.

Once the Cleveland Browns acquired Odell Beckham Jr. in March, they were instantly viewed as the favorites to win the AFC North.

As the team made several other improvements in free agency and the draft, the Browns remained the team bettors chose to claim the AFC North in 2019.

And as the offseason program ends and teams take their last break before training camp, the Browns’ odds to win the AFC North have actually improved.

"The Steelers, Ravens and Bengals saw significant drops in their odds to win the AFC North Division Championship over the last two months. Conversely, the Browns have seen their odds go from +140 to +100."

Even with the improvements the Browns have made to the roster this offseason, it is surprising to see the confidence in a young team. However, these are the types of the expectations the team will have to face in 2019 with the amount of talent they have on the roster.

Browns RB Nick Chubb keeps to himself but loves thriving in a crowded backfield – Nick Shook, ClevelandBrowns.com

"Team success is what’s most important to Chubb, a player whose teammates will tell you is not worried about his stats. He broke 1,000 rushing yards as a rookie, then lost 4 yards and time expired on the season before he could gain them back, sticking him at 996 for the year. He wasn’t upset about it, according to his teammates."

Throughout his entire football career, Nick Chubb has had to face several obstacles that he has been able to overcome. After having a breakout rookie season, Chubb will now have to compete Kareem Hunt, who at one point was playing like one of the best running backs in the NFL. However, it is a challenge that Chubb should be able to adapt to.

Gerald McCoy was intrigued by what the Browns ‘could be’

The Cleveland Browns were unable to convince Gerald McCoy to sign with the organization, but the reason why McCoy was interested in joining the Browns should be an encouraging sign for the organization.
