2. Chance Warmack, Guard

The Browns found a reclamation project in 2018 when they signed Greg Robinson. The move paid off as the former No. 2 overall pick ended up starting at left tackle for eight games in his first season with Cleveland and enters 2019 as the starter again. With that being said, they could look to another former top-10 pick who hasn’t panned out.

Taken 10th overall out of Alabama, Chance Warmack started 48 games for the Tennessee Titans but didn’t get his fifth-year option picked up. He ended up leaving in free agency in 2017 and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He played the past two seasons in Philly, collecting a Super Bowl ring in the process. With their current struggles at guard, he could prove to be a decent option to throw into the mix as they look for someone to fill the hole this season.

1. Donald Penn, Tackle

Easily the best tackle left on the market, Donald Penn is a three-time Pro Bowl selection who went from an undrafted free agent in 2006 to a player who started 174 games in the past 12 seasons. His last Pro Bowl season was 2017 and he entered the following year as the starting right tackle after the Oakland Raiders drafted Kolton Miller.

Penn ended up playing in only four games due to a groin injury and was then released when Oakland signed Trent Brown in free agency. At 36-years old, there’s no doubt that signing Penn would be essentially a one-year rental.

However, it could be a wise investment. Cleveland has stars all over the offensive side of the ball with Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham, Nick Chubb, Jarvis Landry, and Kareem Hunt. It would be unfortunate to see all that firepower slowed down by the offensive line. Someone such as Penn could help them prevent that from happening.
