Cleveland Browns: 3 Early predictions for 2019
By Randy Gurzi
The Cleveland Browns may not have started training camp yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start making early predictions for them in the 2019 NFL Season
Hopes are high in The Land, but unlike it has been in the past, this time it feels real. The Cleveland Browns have built a roster capable of putting together a strong season which has expectations rising.
Of course, going from a good team on paper to a good one on the field is easier said than done. The Browns will have to put in the work, and they have to have the right kind of leadership and guidance.
That’s the one area where they seem to draw the most criticism as they enter the 2019 season with some big personalities on the roster such as Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham, Jr., Jarvis Landry, and Damarious Randall. They all have the talent to succeed but the question asked throughout the media is whether or not head coach Freddie Kitchens will be able to navigate the ship.
Sure, he didn’t have any problems as the offensive coordinator during their 5-3 stretch to close out the season in 2018, but being the head coach is a much different job. The good news is, Kitchens seems to have the kind of personality that fits perfectly with the aforementioned stars and it’s unlikely that he will expect anything but the best from his guys.
With all that being said, there’s a chance we can see a big season from several players this year. Here we try and predict three accomplishments that Cleveland players will have in 2019.
