The Cleveland Browns are expected to be playoff contenders in 2019, but they are also being viewed as one of the biggest threats to win the Super Bowl.

The Cleveland Browns will be one of the most followed teams in the NFL next season with all of the hype they are getting after this offseason.

For a team who has spent most of the past two decades in the basement of the AFC North standings, it is stunning to see the Browns being viewed as one of the top teams in the entire NFL in 2019.

But with the addition of Odell Beckham Jr. to a roster who proved to be much more competitive than expected in 2018, the Browns have become a potentially dangerous team in 2019. And the Las Vegas sportsbooks have taken notice of that.

Since the acquisition of Beckham, the Browns became the favorite to win the AFC North. But they also became one of the favorites to win the AFC Championship, trailing only the Chiefs and Patriots in betting odds.

The Browns are also viewed as one of the top picks to win Super Bowl LIV, as they have the fifth-best odds to win the “Big Game.” The Browns have +1200 odds to win the Super Bowl, according to OddsShark. The only teams with better odds than the Browns were the four teams who reached the Conference Championship games last season: the Chiefs, Patriots, Rams, and Saints. The Bears also have the same odds as the Browns.

Although the Browns showed massive improvement in 2018 and made big additions like Beckham in the offseason, being one of the top picks to win the Super Bowl seems to be an overreaction. Cleveland has a lot of talent on the roster, but needs to show they can turn the talent on paper into success on the field.

However, the Browns do have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL, which should help them in their pursuit of reaching the playoffs. As long as they are able to reach the postseason the Browns could make a surprising run to the Super Bowl.

The Browns will have a lot to prove in the upcoming season, but they appear to have a lot of believers considering the expectations being put on them. If they are able to live up to those expectations, the Dawg Pound will be having a lot of fun in 2019.
