Cleveland Browns: Which win was best in 2018?
The 2019 season is almost here. As fans eagerly await next season, we take a look back and decide which is the best win of the 2018 Cleveland Browns season.
With the next Cleveland Browns season right around the corner, it has many fans drawing some final conclusions to the 2018 season and where the team is headed this year. Thinking back upon the season, it was franchise-changing. From the arrival of Baker Mayfield and the firing of Hue Jackson, last years season had a bit of everything. In it, the Browns were able to win 7 games.
But which of the wins was the most memorable to the fanbase? When we think about this team in the future, what will we say about the 2018 Browns?
One of the most memorable Browns games last season, by far, was during Week 3 of the season in a Thursday night matchup against the New York Jets. An early-season contest, it wasn’t Mayfield who lead the team onto the field that night, but instead Tyrod Taylor. But as we all know, Mayfield was the one leading the team off the field that night.

After suffering an injury and down early in the game, Baker came in and help lead the Browns to their first win in 635 days. The Bud Light victory fridges opened, and Cleveland celebrated the end of a 19-game winless streak. A truly memorable moment in the franchise’s history.
Another memorable victory from last season was against the Bengals in Week 12. The team traveled down to Cincinnati and proceeded to lay a beat down on their Ohio rivals, often remembered as the “Hue Jackson revenge” game.
The Browns also had a few spectacular touchdowns catches that game, one from David Njoku as he was pushed in by his teammates after being lifted into the air, and another from Nick Chubb as he caught a pass from Baker against the helmet of the defender. A fantastic game and satisfying way to dish up some revenge on Hue.
One last final victory worth noting was the Week 15 Saturday night victory over the Denver Broncos. A tight victory, the Browns squeezed by a final score of 17-16. The game featured thrilling plays, especially from Jabrill Peppers, who had an interception and sealed the game with a wide-open sack. (We will miss you, Jabrill).
Are there any other suggestions that you have for a top game from last season? A big consensus seems to be against the Jets during Week 3, but let’s hear your thoughts! Next season is right around the corner, and with that more memories are to come for all of us, Browns fans! Here’s to the successes of 2018 and what we are about to do this year! Go Browns!
