The Cleveland Browns returned to the field and opened training camp on Thursday and there were several takeaways from their first day of practices.

The Cleveland Browns hit the field and started their training camp on Thursday with several eyes on them. As the Browns enter a season with plenty of expectations, they are receiving a lot on national attention.

Freddie Kitchens made it known that the Browns are going to avoid talking about the expectations surrounding the team, as they are currently just “a bunch of individuals.”

If the Browns are going to live up to the expectations surrounding them, they are going to have to be able put all of the new faces together and make them play well as a team. They have plenty of talent on paper, but it remains to be seen how well they play together on the field.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh acknowledged in the spring the Browns have the most talent in the division, but said that it was unknown who the best team in the division was at the time.

In order to become the best team in the division, the Browns are going to have to put in the work during training camp to build chemistry as a unit. The coaches also have to figure out what lineups work the best.

Entering training camp, there were already some questions surrounding the Browns, including who would be on the field first in some of the battles for starting jobs. But some of those questions got answers during the first set of practices.

Here is a look at the biggest takeaways from the first practices of 2019 Cleveland Browns training camp.
