The Cleveland Browns got back on the field Wednesday after a day of rest on Tuesday. Here are three takeaways from the sixth practice of their 2019 Training Camp.

Tuesday was a day of rest for the Cleveland Browns as they were given a day off following five-straight days of practice. They got back at it on Wednesday though, and there was plenty to take away from the workouts.

There was a little rust, which is expected considering they went hard for five days straight following a long offseason and then had just one day to recover. However, players started to play better as things got rolling.

Here, we look back at the day and give our three biggest takeaways from Day 6 of the team’s 2019 Training Camp.

Quick hits: Joseph is killing the competition, Kush gets his turn

While Austin Seibert did have a better day on Wednesday, he missed his last kick which was supposed to be a game-winner. That overshadowed a solid performance earlier in the day — but Greg Joseph continued to shine.

He came into the day with just one miss in practice and again was solid. He even hit the same “game-winning” kick that Seibert whiffed on, but his didn’t count as the field goal team wasn’t in place. Still, he did his part and continues to shine.

As for Eric Kush, the veteran free agent got his chance to work with the starters on Wednesday. The running game was especially potent on the day and Kush had a lot to do with that. Don’t be surprised if he ends up being the favorite to start before long.
