The seventh day of training camp was wrapped up on Thursday as the Cleveland Browns continue to prepare for the 2019 season. Here are 3 takeaways from that practice.

Thursday was the seventh day of practice for the Cleveland Browns, who are gearing up for their annual Orange and Brown Scrimmage. That game takes place on Saturday, Aug. 3 at FirstEnergy Stadium, and if Day 7 was any indication, this team is ready for that game to begin.

The team looked sharp on Thursday and there was plenty of physicality on display as well. They were focusing on tackling drills while also running red zone drills. That led to plenty of highlights making their way around social media throughout the day.

Here we will look at three things that really stood out for the Browns during this session of their 2019 Training Camp.

Quick Hits:

Tight end Demetrius Harris missed day seven as he is in the concussion protocol. A free-agent addition from the Kansas City Chiefs, Harris is expected to be a big part of the offense. He’s been a solid blocker in his career and is an underrated receiver at the position.

Now that he no longer has Travis Kecle ahead of him, there’s a shot he can start to blossom more in this area. Here’s to hoping he starts feeling better soon and can show us why he was brought in.

Also missing practice was Sheldon Richardson. Another offseason signing, Richardson aims to shore up a struggling defensive line. He seems to be fitting in perfectly fine but has been slowed now by an abdominal injury.
