Cleveland Browns football is finally here as the 2019 NFL preseason is upon us. As the Browns meet with Washington in their first preseason game of the year, who should fans be keeping an eye on?

The Cleveland Browns, following their wild offseason, have had a relatively quiet training camp. Baker Mayfield has fully taken the reigns as the team’s frontman. Myles Garrett is looking more dangerous than ever. And Odell Beckham Jr. is, of course, doing what he does best and catching everything that is thrown to him.

The constant “will they, won’t they” of the Duke Johnson situation has significantly cooled, and the Browns have about a month before the season starts.

Before then, the Browns will have to run the gauntlet of four annual preseason games. While head coach Freddie Kitchens has not disclosed whether or not the starters will play, fans can probably infer that they won’t be seeing much action in the first preseason bout.

On Thursday night, the Browns will battle with the Washington Redskins in Cleveland as fans get their first look at their 2019 squad.

Fans are anxious to get their eyes on some football, and excitement is at a fever pitch for the Browns especially. The Dawg Pound has not seen this amount of talent gathered on one team since the Browns made their return in 1999, and Browns fans have been starved for a winner for nearly twenty years.

As fans prepare for what feels like a new era of Browns football, there are some new faces they should be keeping an eye on when the Browns face Washington on Thursday. These are the three players that fans should be looking out for most.
