Saturday will be a difficult day for many NFL hopefuls as teams finalize their 53-man rosters. Here is a rundown of who the Cleveland Browns have let go.

There’s a lot more talent on the 2019 Cleveland Browns roster than there has been in previous seasons. That’s why there are so many expectations being placed on this team as they’re turning into serious contenders in the AFC North.

One consequence of a more talented roster is the fact that general manager John Dorsey and head coach Freddie Kitchens are going to have some very tough decisions to make as they make their roster cuts following the preseason.

Every NFL team has until 4:00 p.m. EST to trim their depth chart down to just 53 players, which is harder this season than it has been in years.

Cleveland will surely cut their share of good players who will land on other teams whether by waiver claim or a later free agency pick up.

There’s also a chance many of these players could find their way to the Cleveland practice squad — and they will have their share of young prospects they hope clear waivers and thus can be added to the 10-man unit.

As for players who don’t make the squad and are not claimed, they could be in danger of seeing their hopes to make it to the league dashed. That makes this one of the darker days of the NFL calendar even though it is a necessary one.

Here we will do our best to keep you updated as the Browns make their move with our live roster cut tracker. Here are the players who have been let go by Cleveland.
