The Cleveland Browns are expected to be active in adding talent before the season, and these players on waivers could interest the front office.

It was unknown how the Cleveland Browns were going to approach Saturday afternoon when they had to cut their roster down to 53 players.

The organization purposely added competition all across the roster, leading to many camp battles. And a lot of the competitions turned into heated battles that created a lot of questions about the Browns roster.

Cleveland could have gone many different directions with their roster cuts, and they made quite a few surprising moves. Players like Derrick Willies and Seth DeValve were expected to make the final roster, but were a part of the cuts.

The Browns also loaded up at some position groups compared to other position groups they left rather thin. And because of the way they set up their roster, it creates belief they will be active reshaping their roster over the next couple of days by adding players waived or released on Saturday.

Last season, the Browns were fairly busy on the waiver wire after cut day, adding players like Carl Davis and Tavierre Thomas. Although Davis was waived Saturday and Thomas made the roster, waiver wire additions can play a role on the roster for an entire season.

With the Browns expected to continue to look at adding to their roster, here is a look at some players who were let go over the past couple of days who could interest the Browns.
