The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including Damarious Randall criticizing the Packers because of his trade.

Last offseason, the Cleveland Browns traded with the Green Bay Packers to acquire Damarious Randall, who was struggling to make an impact as a cornerback in Green Bay. But in one season with the Browns after a position change, Randall has become an important defensive piece.

March 9, 2018 will be a day that signaled a culture change for the Browns, as Cleveland made three trades, acquiring Randall, Jarvis Landry, and Tyrod Taylor. And Cleveland gave up few important assets to acquire the three players.

The Randall trade was the most surprising because the key piece the Browns moved was quarterback DeShone Kizer, who was not expected to have a role with Cleveland due to the Browns having the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Out of the Factory of Sadness – Tyler Dunne, Bleacher Report

"“I knew it’d go down as one of the worst trades in Green Bay Packers history,” Randall says. “Any time I want to feel like I’m on my high horse, I still look back like, Damn, they really traded me for DeShone Kizer? No offense to him, but at the end of the day—c’mon now.”"

The belief was the Packers viewed Kizer as the eventual replacement for Aaron Rodgers, which gave Kizer time to be groomed and develop. But because he was cut during cut down day, Randall could be right about the trade and it could be one of the worst trades the Packers have ever made.

Cleveland Browns’ receiver misery from 2016 NFL Draft has company – Doug Lesmerises, Cleveland.com

"So the Browns blew it with the Coleman pick, which they made after trading down twice from No. 2 and then No. 8. They picked the wrong receiver, but so did a lot of others. The problem was probably trying to pick a receiver there at all, even for a franchise desperate at the position that drafted four receivers that year."

The Cleveland Browns, and Sashi Brown, have received plenty of criticism for selecting Corey Coleman in the 2016 NFL Draft, and rightfully so. But most of the other top receivers in that draft have flamed out, except for Michael Thomas of course. It is an interesting trend, but receivers being selected in the first round typically do not work out.
