With the Cleveland Browns ready to play the New York Jets on Monday Night Football, they were able to get a few favorable outcomes on Sunday

The Cleveland Browns didn’t play Sunday but that doesn’t mean they weren’t able to have a few favorable outcomes. They were clearly watching a few of the games and nearly everything went their way, with one exception.

That exception was the Baltimore Ravens, who found a way to continue their hot play and pull off another win, even with the Arizona Cardinals doing all they could to come back in that one.

As for the games that did go their way, we look here at the top three that could end up helping the Browns out as they look to shake off a Week 1 loss and make a push to the playoffs this season.

No. 3: Cincinnati Bengals loss to San Francisco 49ers

The Cincinnati Bengals finished behind the Browns in the standings last season which means they’re the least likely to threaten them in the AFC North. However, they were close in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks which made it seem as though new head coach Zac Taylor may have turned the corner for these guys.

However, they were thoroughly beaten this weekend by the San Francisco 49ers who dropped 41 on them. This moves the Bengals to 0-2 on the season which gives the Browns a shot at jumping over them in the standings should they be able to take care of business on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets.
