Game: Los Angeles Rams at Cleveland Browns

Summary: The Los Angeles Rams coming into Cleveland against a Browns team who has yet to find their identity is dangerous for Cleveland and its fans. This Rams team is deadly when allowed to be. Jared Goff isn’t a bad QB but he isn’t elite. He will make mistakes if his defense can get to him and get hits on him. This D-Line needs to show up fast and often.

Sean McVay can dial up an offense that puts up points fast and in a hurry. The defense needs to stay disciplined and make smart plays. Handing this offense a first down will lose your team this game.

Freddie Kitchens needs to call faster developing passing routes or hand over play-calling duties. There, the offense is fixed. Yes, it really is that simple. “Baker needs more time to throw!” Sure but when the O-Line isn’t blocking well, you need to call faster-developing routes for Baker to throw to.

Keys to winning this game:
1. Discipline. No stupid penalties
2. Coaching, Freddie Kitchens has shown that he is indeed a rookie head coach. Call more effective plays or hand it over to Todd Monken, not a difficult concept.
3. No turnovers, no reason to give this offensive powerhouse any more chances to score.

Prediction: Cleveland 35, Los Angeles 23
