With the Baltimore Ravens losing to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon, the door is open for the Cleveland Browns to move into a first-place tie with a won on Sunday Night Football

The Baltimore Ravens made it close after falling behind 30-13 but ended up losing their first game of the season as the Kansas City Chiefs topped them by a score of 33-28. That’s good news for the Cleveland Browns, who can move into a first-place tie should then be able to upset the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football.

It’s the second-straight primetime game for the Browns as they were able to beat the New York Jets on Monday Night Football in Week 2. That gave them their first win of the season and now they’re right behind the 2-1 Ravens.

For Baltimore, it ended a strong start to the season that saw them defeat the Miami Dolphins easily in Week 1 and hold off a comeback attempt by the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2.

As for Cleveland, they enter the Week 3 game underdogs to the road team as the Rams are one of the more explosive offenses in the NFL. The defending NFC champions are 2-0 and feature an offensive attack centered around Jared Goff, Todd Gurley, Brandin Cooks, and Cooper Kupp.

They also boast a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year in Aaron Donald. Cleveland’s Myles Garrett has expressed his desire to be included in the discussion for that award this season and had three sacks on Monday night. Should he continue to shine with the bright lights on, he could start to open some eyes as he shoots for that hardware.

Cleveland and Los Angeles will get the game underway in FirstEnergy Stadium at 8:20 in a game that suddenly has much higher stakes for the home team.

And if they can pull off the win, they will put themselves in a great position in the AFC North while also announcing to the NFL that they’re for real.
