Nick Chubb’s Best Day

Browns running back Nick Chubb turned into a monster in Week 4.

The Browns’ most damning mistake in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams was the final first and goal sequence, late in the fourth quarter. Freddie Kitchens’ rookie mistakes kicked in at the worst possible time, and the Browns ran four straight passing plays against the Rams from LA’s five-yard line. Those issues were seemingly remedied in the Browns’ Week 4 contest against the Baltimore Ravens, all thanks to one man. A running back by the name of Nick Chubb.

Chubb turned into the clutch, power running back that Cleveland needed during his rookie year, but his frank lack of usage in certain situations in 2019 left fans wanting more. Freddie Kitchens and Chubb delivered this week.

Chubb had the day all to himself as he accounted for three Browns touchdowns on the day. With two coming out of the red zone packages, and one 88-yard run, the Georgia product busted this game wide open in the second half.

Chubb rushed for over 150 yards on the day, helping the Browns’ offense to find their footing in Baltimore. By wearing the Ravens down defensively, Chubb was able to keep the Browns in front during their first divisional contest.
