The Cleveland Browns are off to a 2-2 start on the current season. Here, we look ahead and try to fill some holes in this 2020 7-round mock draft.

Suddenly, the Cleveland Browns have become road dawgs as they are now 2-0 when playing away from FirstEnergy Stadium. Clearly, it’s still early but the fact that they can travel and still perform well speaks volumes about the makeup of this team.

That doesn’t mean they’re without flaws, as we did see a few areas of concern over the first quarter of the season — which was to be expected. Cleveland is still an incredibly young team and they’ve also recently added some new pieces that they’re relying heavily upon this season.

Clearly, the biggest name added is Odell Beckham, Jr. The former New York Giants wideout was brought in to give Baker Mayfield a weapon to utilize in the passing game. So far, they haven’t meshed completely as OBJ is off to a slower start than expected but even with the start feeling slow, he has 308 yards in the first four games which has him well on the way to another 1,000-plus yardage season.

He’s also helped make things easier for his former LSU teammate Jarvis Landry, who isn’t drawing the same attention he has last season. That allowed Juice to pull in eight receptions for 167 yards in Week 4 and he too is on pace for a good season as he has 328 yards.

Even with the new weapons on this team though, the Browns still have a few holes to fill as they continue to build a roster that can contend in the AFC. Here we look ahead to the offseason with this seven-round 2020 mock draft.
