Can the Browns offensive line hold up against 49ers front?

On the other end of the spectrum, the Browns offensive line will also have their hands full against the 49ers defensive line. But there is not as much confidence in the Browns offensive in compared to Cleveland’s defensive line being able to make something happen.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

Cleveland’s offensive line played well against the Baltimore Ravens, helping limit the pressure that was getting to Baker Mayfield. They seemed to thrive in the run first offense, which made them look more comfortable pass blocking.

They will not be comfortable against the 49ers, who boast one of the best young defensive lines in the entire NFL. With Nick Bosa, DeForest Buckner, Arik Armstead, and Dee Ford, the 49ers have an intimidating front four who can make life difficult for offenses.

Having that much talent up front is going to test the entire front five of the Browns offensive line. There is not going to be an easy matchup across the entire line, and it could lead to some trouble for the Browns.

The Browns offense played extremely well once the offensive line was able to limit the defensive line at the point of attack. But the Ravens do not have as much talent up front as the 49ers do, so this will be a real test for the Browns offensive line and it will be a good measuring stick to see if they have their issues on the offensive line cured.
