Predictions for the Cleveland Browns Monday night game against San Francisco

Game: Cleveland Browns (2-2) at San Francisco 49ers (3-0)
Summary: After their 40-25 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, the Cleveland Browns travel to the Bay Area to take on the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are one of the surprises of the league this season, leading the NFC West through one-quarter of the season despite strong performances from both the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams. Two of the NFL’s exciting young quarterbacks in Baker Mayfield and Jimmy Garoppolo will meet in Week 5 on Monday night.
Personally, I do not believe that Odell Beckham Jr. is physically capable of having two nearly-silent games in a row. The megastar wide receiver had just two catches in Week 4 against the Ravens (even if he still made the news after being choked on the field by cornerback Marlon Humphrey). With a full crew of Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, and Antonio Callaway around him, OBJ should be able to breathe a bit more in the Browns’ offense.
Defensively, the Browns should be able to capitalize on 49ers tackle Joe Staley’s absence. Myles Garrett’s Week 4 performance was less than stellar, but the third-year defensive end’s track record indicates that he should pick right back up on Monday night.
I like the Browns in this one, although it could be too close for comfort right down to the end. Baker Mayfield shows out under the lights and the Browns move to 2-1 in primetime this season.
Final Score: Browns 34, 49ers 24
