Cleveland Browns build dominant secondary in 7-round mock draft
By Cory Kinnan
Round 6, Pick 178: Mekhi Becton, IOL, Louisville
As previously mentioned, Kush has been a solid guard for the Browns this season, but is he the long term solution? No. Similar to how the Browns handled the Greg Robinson situation, it would be likely to see them re-sign Kush to a short term deal while they seek out a longer-term solution at the right guard position.

Teller could prove to be that solution as he is still early in his career and has shown promise before coming to Cleveland, but the Browns could also look to take a late-round flyer on a guard as well. Besides, while it would be a devastating loss to the continuity to the interior of the offensive line, Tretter could also walk this offseason.
With Austin Corbett looking like a bust, the Browns may need to add another young player to the interior of their offensive line; here in the sixth round, they add Mekhi Becton from the University of Louisville, hoping to find a diamond in the rough. Listed at 6-7 and 369 pounds, Becton may need to slim down a bit to improve his chances of being a mobile guard that the Browns like in their often-pulling run scheme.
However, Becton is intriguing due to his size and length, and what is the harm of taking a flyer in the sixth round? If Becton is raw coming into the league, then he could be a practice squad stash as well for the Browns.
