The Cleveland Browns have responded well to losses this season, both of their wins have come after a loss. This week they host the front-runner for MVP Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks.

Following losses this season, the Cleveland Browns beat the New York Jets 23-3 on Monday Night Football then had their best game of the season against the Baltimore Ravens 40-25.

There is no doubt this a roster full of players who are confident in their abilities and expect to win games. That is obviously led by quarterback Baker Mayfield.

But this week they are facing a Super Bowl champion coach and quarterback combination, Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson. Wilson has thrown 12 touchdowns and has yet to throw an interception.

Mayfield will have to have a bounce-back game and the playcalling needs to help him do. They are not facing a very good pass rush so Mayfield should have time in the pocket.

Seattle has been firing on all cylinders on offense, running back Chris Carson gives them the type of physicality out of the backfield that they had with Marshawn Lynch.

Tyler Lockett has looked like a No. 1 receiver and Will Dissly has quietly been one of the best tight ends in the league.

The Browns will have to do a much better job tackling this week, the 49ers ran for 275 yards on them last week. Cleveland will have to wrap up and get multiple tacklers to Carson to bring him down.

If they can’t, a shootout would have to favor Wilson, he’s more experienced and has looked superhuman this season. But we shouldn’t underestimate the competitive nature of Baker Mayfield.
