The Cleveland Browns fell to 2-4 on the season with a loss to the Seattle Seahawks and these players stood out as their Week 6 studs and duds

Week 6 was the biggest roller coaster rides of the 2019 season for the Cleveland Browns. They came out like a team ready to make a statement following a rough game the week prior. They opened up their game against the Seattle Seahawks with a 74-yard kickoff return from running back Dontrell Hilliard which set them up at the Seattle 23.

From there, it took them just three plays to go up 7-0 and before long, they had raced out to a 20-6 lead. Unfortunately, the wheels fell off at this point.

Cleveland allowed Seattle to slowly chip away at the lead and it was 20-18 when they went to the half. Another touchdown came in the third and the Browns were ahead 25-20 and had all the momentum.

The roller-coaster ride continued as Cleveland caught a huge break when Michael Dickson punted it just 23 yards from their own end zone. This led to another touchdown for the home team, but they were unable to hold on and eventually lost 32-28.

It was a tough loss and that makes the poor performances stand out in this week’s edition of the studs and duds.

Notable omission: Special teams, Dontrell Hilliard

Special teams started out on fire with the Hilliard kick return but things fizzled out from there. With a lead of 20-9, the Browns had a field goal blocked which set the Seahawks up at the Cleveland 20.

They moved it down to the two-yard line but were held to a field goal. That was a tough ask for the defense and they were up to the challenge. Still, it helped give the visiting team some momentum. There was also a missed extra point from rookie Austin Seibert, as the special teams didn’t have their best game.

As for Dontrell Hilliard, he had a good return to start the game but then helped Seattle seal the win. With less than three minutes remaining, Hilliard allowed a pass to bounce off his hands and it landed in the arms of linebacker K.J. Wright, allowing the ‘Hawks to sit on the ball and kill the final 2:41.
