The Cleveland Browns clearly still have an issue along their offensive line, and will likely have to invest a high draft asset into one in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Another week, another heartbreaking loss for the 2019 Cleveland Browns squad; this time it was at home to the Seattle Seahawks after jumping out to an early lead. In what was probably quarterback Baker Mayfield’s best game of the season, his supporting cast let him down in a big way.

As the Browns continue to lose, their draft odds are getting higher, however, with the second easiest schedule in the back half of the season, this Cleveland team will more than likely still find themselves above .500 by the end of the year and in a wildcard matchup. This first half of the schedule featured a brutal gauntlet of the undefeated San Francisco 49ers, the now 5-1 Seahawks, and the defending NFC champion Los Angeles Rams.

Luckily for head coach Freddie Kitchens and the Browns, they have two weeks to prepare for the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and first-ballot Hall of Famer Tom Brady. There is no reason to panic about the 2019 season yet, but gaps do need to be plugged along this roster — although that’s not something we can do now but instead will most likely have to wait until the 2020 NFL Draft.

As the Browns head into the bye week, we look ahead to that offseason event with this seven-round mock draft featuring a high asset invested into the offensive line.
