4. Myles Garrett becomes first to 30 sacks in NFL history

Garrett was the Browns’ number one overall selection in the 2017 NFL draft and has been nothing short of spectacular since then. Garrett has 29.5 sacks through 33 games played, and he’s on pace to finish the 2019 season with 24 sacks. That number would break the record of 22.5 set by Michael Strahan in 2001.

Myles has been a terror all season long, and there has been nothing on the field to make anyone assume that would change. The back end of the schedule is loaded with games the Browns should be ahead in and should lead to more pass-rushing opportunities for the quarterback sacking specialist. The schedule also has seven games against teams ranked 18th or lower, allowing 2.5 sacks per game or worse.

For Garrett to reach this total, the offense will have to do its part and get ahead of teams early. The offense will get Kareem Hunt added to the fold in Week 10 and should be able to hold up their end of the bargain. With the entire secondary finally expected to be back after the bye week and beyond, expect Myles to continue to wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks on his way into the history books.
