The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including the offensive line being shuffled during the bye week.

The Cleveland Browns offensive line has been a controversial group during the 2019 regular season. With all of the pressure Baker Mayfield has dealt with in the pocket, it seems like the offensive line is not giving him enough time.

However, several next-gen stats point out that the Browns offensive line has done well protecting Mayfield, giving him at least the 2.5 seconds in the pocket without any pressure. This has led to a debate of if the offensive line is the problem or if Mayfield is holding onto the ball too long.

However, with the Browns in their bye week before playing their final 10 games of the regular season, it appears that the Browns coaching staff feels a lot of the problems are coming from the offensive line.

Browns LT Greg Robinson has either already been benched or is in serious jeopardy of it, source says – Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland.com

"When the Browns return from the bye, there’s a decent chance Robinson will be replaced by someone else on the Browns’ roster, possibly backup tackle Kendall Lamm. The Browns are also contemplating replacing right guard Eric Kush, possibly with Wyatt Teller."

Although Greg Robinson hasn’t played great, it is interesting they are deciding to bench him instead of Chris Hubbard, who has been consistently the source of allowing pressures in the backfield. The Browns coaching staff obviously sees something in Robinson’s performance, which is why he could be getting benched. The question now is if this will lead to John Dorsey making a trade to add to the line before the trade deadline.

Ryan Leaf expresses concern for Baker Mayfield after Browns quarterback’s struggles – Ryan Gaydos, FOX News

"Leaf appeared in an interview Tuesday on “The Rich Eisen Show” and expressed concern about Mayfield’s career after the brash and budding star spent the offseason raising his profile and trash talking but his play on the field has yet to back up the noise he created."

Ryan Leaf may feel how Mayfield is interacting with media as a bad thing because of how he handled the media. However, Mayfield has always handled talking to the media like he currently is, so it is not something new that would create some concern.
