Home vs. Buffalo Bills (4-1)

Preview: Josh Allen was the third quarterback selected of the of five first-rounders in the 2018 NFL draft behind Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold. Allen has improved from year one to year two.

His completion percentage has gone up to 62 percent after completing just 56 percent in his rookie year. However, he’s thrown 15 touchdown passes to 19 interceptions. Allen is a sneaky good athlete, averaging 46 yards per game for his short career, and he’s added 11 rushing touchdowns.

The Bills have won games by playing stout defense. Buffalo is allowing just 10.8 points per game. That total is good for second in the NFL behind the Patriots. Expect the Browns to force Allen to beat them with his arm and win a very close and physical game.

Score: Browns 21, Bills 20

Record: 4-5

Home vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4)

Preview: The Steelers are down to their third-string quarterback after Ben Roethlisberger and Mason Rudolph suffered injuries. Roethlisberger is out for the year, but by the time of this game, Rudolph could be back under center. The Steelers started off slow going 0-4, but have since won their last two games thanks to some great defense and solid quarterback play.

The Steelers have owned the Browns going 33-5-1 over the past 20 years. Times are changing as Cleveland should be expected to win for a change. Even playing with a backup or third-string quarterback, don’t expect Pittsburgh to yield anything. Mike Tomlin always has his team ready to play when facing Cleveland, and that won’t change. It’ll be close, but Cleveland prevails at home.

Score: Browns 31, Steelers 21

Record: 5-5
