The NFL season is underway and the Cleveland Browns have not lived up to expectations. The team made many moves this summer in the hopes of becoming a Super Bowl contender.

Many believed during the offseason that the Cleveland Browns had what it took to compete for the coveted crown. But now the bandwagon that had grown full is decreasing in size with every week that passes.

The team is 2-4 and now sit 2.5 games behind the division-leading Baltimore Ravens. The Browns beat the Ravens but have lost to some excellent football teams.

In their losses, their opponents have a combined record of 18-9. This doesn’t make the losses feel any better, but it helps put things into perspective.

The trade deadline is less than two weeks away and John Dorsey has already been a busy man. He shipped the 35th overall draft pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Austin Corbett, off to the Los Angeles Rams for a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft.

As with any draft pick, sometimes you get your guy and sometimes you don’t. Dorsey doesn’t worry too much about the ones he got right. He worries about the ones he missed on and how he can correct them as soon as possible.

The same could be said for free-agent and trade acquisitions. There are many players with high expectations on the Browns’ roster, and very few have managed to live up to them to this point.

With the 2019 season six games in, let’s determine whose stock you should buy, sell, or hold for the rest of the season.
