Cleveland Browns News: Odell Beckham has quite the gift for Tom Brady
By Randy Gurzi
The Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news including a story about Odell Beckham, Jr. getting a gift for Tom Brady of the Patriots
This weekend, the Cleveland Browns are about to take on the New England Patriots. The defending champions are looking for Lombardi Trophy No. 7 this season and Tom Brady, who just turned 42 in August, has been under center for all their previous six titles.
For that reason, he’s widely considered the best to ever play the game — and that seems to be the motivation behind a gift Odell Beckham, Jr. plans to give him when the two teams meet in Week 8.
That story and more can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.

"“Offensive MVP – RB Nick ChubbThe second-year running back has emerged as one of the best at his position in the entire NFL. Even after the bye, Chubb ranks fourth in the league with 607 yards and is one of four players to average more than 100 per game.”"
It’s hard to argue against any award Gribble gives out. In addition to Chubb as offensive MVP, he names Garrett for the defense and has a shout out for Ricky Seals-Jones who has filled in rather well for an injured David Njoku.
Browns sign DT Eli Ankou — ClevelandBrowns.com
"“The Cleveland Browns have signed DT Eli Ankou (pronounced el-EE ON-koo) to the active roster from Jacksonville’s practice squad. In addition, the team signed LB Montrel Meander to the practice squad and released RB Elijah McGuire from the practice squad.”"
The Browns did waive running back Elijah McGuire to make room on the practice squad for Meander but they signed Ankou to replace Austin Corbett who was traded to the Los Angeles Rams.
Could Ricky Seals-Jones make David Njoku expendable?
He was already called a surprise by Andrew Gribble of the team’s official website but Dan Justik asks if Ricky Seals-Jones can make David Njoku expendable. He has provided quite a boost in the passing game and could be more of a deep threat.
